Dear Readers,
I hope everyone is doing well!
April’s creative challenge in the Sylvanian Families Forum was about Sylvania Day.
The prompt for this challenge was:Sylvania Day is much like Earth Day - a time to increase awareness of environmental issues and take action to protect the environment. Nature is a core concept for Sylvanian Families and, as stewards of the forest, Sylvanians live in harmony with nature and do their best to nurture and protect the world around them.
Terra, our forum administrator, always shares wonderful ideas to spark inspiration. Among her fantastic suggestions, one stood out to me: photograph your Sylvanians enjoying nature in the real world.
Today's post isn't really a story, just some photos of Peter and Peace, my favorite bunny couple, enjoying the great outdoors.
....................................................................
On Sylvania Day, Peter and Peace loaded up their van, excited to take in the beauty around them. The road ahead was rough and winding, cutting through hills and dense forests. The bumps and twists only made the journey more fun, making them laugh as the van jostled along the uneven path.
After a long drive, they found the perfect spot by a calm river.
Peter picked up his guitar and began playing the song he and Peace had written for Sylvania Day. Beside him, Peace joined in, singing softly as their music blended with the sounds of nature:
"Love the Earth, the sky so wide, every mountain, every tide. Sylvania’s beauty shining bright, Sun and rain, both feel just right. Love the land, the stars above. They´re nature´s gifts for you and me." 🎵🎶🎵🎶
Side by side, one by one, There’s still more to be done. Not just words, not just dreams, Let’s protect all nature gives."
After a while,ready to explore,
they stepped onto the smooth stones scattered across the water, making
their way to the other side.
They spotted a small wooden dock nearby, and before long, they were paddling down the river in a rented canoe. Out on the water everything felt calmer, just the steady flow of the river, birds calling overhead, and the occasional splash of their paddles.
Back on land, they wandered through fields of tall grass, the countryside felt wild and untamed.
They were surrounded by greenery, with tall plants swaying in the breeze. It smelled of damp earth and wildflowers. It felt like they were deep in the wilderness, far from the world, completely lost in nature.
Hand in hand, they went for a stroll through the forest.
They enjoyed a simple yet satisfying snack:crunchy carrots, sandwiches and apple juice.
Such a sweet post and lovely photos.

Have a great day! Take care!
Excellent photos, Cutata. The angles on the scenery help bring Peter and Peace right into the countryside. I love the ones near the water and with the tree. Isn't it great how moss looks like grass to a smaller (Sylvanian) scale? A nice song too! Your bunnies do indeed look like they've had a great time.
ResponderEliminarYour posts always are a pleasurable read.
Stay safe and have a wonderful May, my friend!
Hi Jackson!
EliminarThanks so much for your kind words!
The grass was way too tall for Sylvanian scale. It felt like they were wandering through a rainforest! Haha. But yeah, you're right, moss totally looks like grass at their size.
I love seeing Sylvanians out in real nature—it’s where they truly belong. I was feeling stuck on ideas for the" Sylvania Day" challenge, but spending time outside with Peter and Peace really inspired me to write this post. I´m glad you enjoyed it!
Have a great day, my friend! Take care!
Hola! I had a lot of fun watching your adventurous bunnies exploring La Boca Del Asno! Apple & Juice in Purrchester agree that the van is a fab vehicle for excursions into the wild and are looking forward to doing so again, too... Thank you so much for sharing your photos with us - We LOOOVE them! Hugs, Florence Holiday/Sylvania
ResponderEliminarHi Florence!
ResponderEliminarThank you so much for your kind words! I'm really glad you enjoyed watching Peter and Peace spend a day in true nature.
The van is amazing—they're so happy to finally have their own vehicle to explore and go places. I think it was around this time last year when they were able to buy it after saving for a long time.
They’ll never forget that their very first trips in the van were to visit their grandma and cousins in Carrot Field Hollow, and to see their good friends Apple and Juice in Purchester. They had a wonderful time on their first adventure!
Have a great day! Take care!
