Review: School Music Set

Dear Readers,

Today I´m going to review one of the sets I got at Christmas: "The School Music Set". It´s a nice set that includes one figure and 12 pieces.
I´m going to show you some pictures so you can get a better idea of what you get with this set.

This is the front part of the box. As you can see it comes with Freya Chocolate in school uniform.

This is the back of the box.

And this is the side.

 Let´s open the box.

This is what you get inside. Let´s unbox the packaging.

A close up of Freya in school uniform. She looks very cute.

Now I´m going to show you a close up of the six musical instruments the set includes.

The piano is my favourite. It comes with a bench and a piece of music sheet. The lid over the keyboard flips up and down and you can press down on the keys and on the pedals too.

 The trumpet

The xylophone

The violin with its bow

The flute

 The drum

Here is Freya with all the instruments.

Mr. Fenton is the music teacher of Berry Grove School. He is very talented, a virtuous musician with a vocation for teaching.

And these are some of his students playing their favourite instrument. They all love music.

Freddie Buckley is very good at playing the trumpet

Mandy Brightfield plays the flute with delicacy and harmony.

Paddock Buttercup has a very good sense of rhythm. He enjoys playing the drum.

Frances Robinson has a gift for playing the violin.

Hugh Grunt knows how to make the xylophone sound its best.

Freya chocolate is learning to play the piano and she´s making good progress.

When they play together they make a good band. Agatha Buckley, the school headmistress and Mr.Fenton, their music teacher are very proud of their students. They deserve an applause ! Well done, children! It sounds wonderful!

I love the set but the only problem is that it´s difficult for the figures to hold the instruments. It took me more time than expected to take the pictures because the instrument kept falling once and again. The last picture was a bit of a nightmare, the flute, the trumpet and the violin with the bow are hard to stay on place for a few seconds. When it seemed they were all ready, all of a sudden the flute was down, when the flute was back on its place the trumpet was on the floor, then the violin bow...but apart from that I´m very pleased with this set.
Do you like it? Have you already got it ?

This is the first time I write a review I hope you enjoyed it.

Lots of love

  1. That is such a cute set! I love the little instruments, but it's a pity that they're complicated to hold. Love your last photo :)

    1. Thank you for your comment Kyraja. The instruments are nice but as I said you need a good dose of patience to set the figures holding the instruments (violin, flute and trumpet mainly. It´s a lovely set, though.
